Dog SHOW

Why are idiots allowed to buy these huge, dangerous dogs that they will no doubt be parading again at this years dog show?  Sorry I should probably apologise to the dogs, you would not be dangerous should you have the correct training and therefore correct owner.  It makes me mad when I see these 'mucho' guys walking around thinking they are as tough as nails because they have this monster of a dog by their side.  Its funny that I never see them walking them during the year, anywhere, but feel the need to parade around the dog show.  Dogs like this come with a great deal of responsibility and these guys look as though they have none, and probably why they had a dog fatality last year.  Surely there should be some law about who can own these dogs?  Is it the same as big car?  Big dog, small .......

    A point on this:

The fatality at the dog show was, according to several eyewitnesses, not actually the fault of the big dog. Supposedly, the big dog was properly leashed and the small one was on an extendable leash. Small dog owners were not keeping an eye on the dog who then proceeded to harass the larger dog..

..to the point where the big dog snapped. Let's not be so quick to condemn an animal just because it's bigger.

Errrrm Sorry to say but you have a very narrow mind as towards big dog owners. Tarring all with the same brush? I know some of these huge dog owners and they all look huge and scary and as if they belong in a cage but actually so many are the biggest softies you will ever find. Also as pointed out above the small dog owner was in fact the irresponsible owner.

Nevermind the canines that are at the show...the show is seeing some of their owners...I just hope the pink poodle decides to make an appearance this year. Pure class.

Dogs are very much like their human owners - if I get provoked by some smaller breed then there is a likelihood that I will snap too. Not to the degree of murder, but just a solid bite that leaves the little git knowing where the line in the sand is drawn.

Sadly, the little dog is generally a lot more vocal than the bigger dog...all mouth and no action...bark being marginally bigger than the bite...

If their attitude were translated into humans then they would most likely be those expat brat types that are so often seen ordering packing staff around in Spinneys, or those that send their kids to the park with the maids, or that always push in during stationary traffic...or worse...dictators...
